Hi everybody! Did you miss us? Sorry about the lack of postings lately, no real excuse apart from the usual ones. Here are some photos from our California Christmas, not in the usual format in an effort to make up for lost time. Yes, we have another movie to share! Here, its just some fun times in the driveway playing basketball. Those of you who have followed this site for a while will recognize this as within our tradition of “videos without much going on in them.”

…Christmas! Cold and gray weather; sweaters coming out of the closet; and getting the Christmas tree up (for the first time in the new place). Yeah, its almost time for Santa to come down the (in our case non-existent) chimney.
Which means we’d better hurry up and post the backlog of Thanksgiving photos to make room on the memory card for the holiday onslaught. So … here’s a gallery of late fall, including today’s hunt for a tree. Enjoy, and all the best of the season from our family to you!
Its been a fun summer for us in the new place; lots of family and friends have come from out of town (Ellen, then Jane, then John, then Andrea, Ed, & Ana…), E has been learning to swim and ride bikes, h is learning something every day.

Some of you may know that we’re in the midst of selling our place and moving to the ‘burbs. Buying, selling, moving, and the related schedule chaos isn’t keeping us busy enough, so we decided to update the website, too. Here’s another good-sized set of photos from this month and last, including a trip to see a bunch of Dempseys in So. Cal.

Today is our seventh anniversary. Happy Anniversary to us!
Our annual anniversary photo was taken on a beautiful day at the park with Henry & Eva and friends. (More photos of that in the next album.) Happy Labor Day weekend everyone!
We’ve been so lucky this month to have our extended family come visit us. Its probably just coincidence, not anything to do with how cute our kids are, but for whatever reason, we’ve had visits from uncles/aunts/cousins/brothers/sisters-in-law, all just since our last post. So many photo opportunities! That’s the good news; the bad news is we’re almost out of gin.
Thanks to everyone who has sent well wishes, and we can’t wait for more visitors in the weeks to come.
