If you’re reading this post, you probably know about the whole rowing thing with us. These days, there’s pretty much only one rowing regatta worth Training-with-a-capital-T for, and that’s the Head of the Charles every October in Cambridge. Even if we’re not racing (which seems to be more often than not so far this century), being at the HOCR is like being at a big reunion weekend, and so we try not to miss it, even with airline travel being what it is.
This year Greg & Geoff had an entry in the Championship Double event, and we had the added incentive of a wedding the next weekend in Boston, and a mom-mom who hadn’t yet met the newest klingantoni, so we decided to make an extended vacation out of it, and stayed in town for a long ten-day trip. The weather was (mostly) great, the kids were awesome in the face of lots of flying/driving/schlepping, much fun was had, and many photos were taken.
With that kind of build up, you might expect our photo gallery to actually include, well, some pictures of rowing. Erm … nope. But if you want to see some pictures of G & G in the actual race, let us refer you to the professionals here, here, here, and/or here.
Enjoy, and thanks for the emails!
